The Burnie Musical Society is a community based theatre group that has been running since 1960.

The Pantomime in November is "Puss in Black", Directed by Wayne Hayes, Musical Director Del Polden and Glenda Ellis as Choreographer
2013 will see the North West Tasmanian premier of "Les Miserables" in March. Directed by Noel Browne with Thomas Lamb, Bronwyn Darvell, Kelly Smith and Helen Jones in the music department
